Absent WithOut Leave (AWOL)

This picture of the extended Bush clan was taken in 2005.

Please note the ages of the people in this picture.

To date, NONE of the age-eligible people pictured here, have ever served or have volunteered for military service.

I guess it is only your kids or mine that have to do the heavy lifting.

I can't heap enough venom on these people.

Just another reason to have issues with the Bush administration. I would also wonder the percentage of family members of those in Congress who are currently serving. Would be an interesting stat.

Bill, I have a little something for you over at my site. Hope you like.

I think this point was made by that woman who kept vigil at the TX ranch for her son.
Arg.

Wow. That's all I can say.

This is completely disgusting!

And, of course, with all of the blood money being pocketed by big companies from this Iraq war - I'm willing to bet that each person in this photo is ALREADY a multi-millionaire!!!

Thanks for pointing that out. I had a feeling that was the case. I often wonder where things would be today if Jenna or Barbara had to go to Iraq.

Yet another blog of a fool. There are Republicans and Demos with children in the military. Not all of them but probably a reasonable percent. I'm sure you'll now be supporting the McCain Palin ticket. A war hero and the mother of a soldier. Oh, you won't? It's all politics you twit. You don't like Bush's politics so you don't like anything else about him.

I rarely respond to anonymous comments, but you are an exception today.

I shall parse your prose, if you don't mind:

"Yet another blog of a fool."

This, I won't dignify.

"There are Republicans and Demos with children in the military. Not all of them but probably a reasonable percent."

And this has WHAT to do with the fact that no "man" in Bush's family has signed on to go to war for America?

"I'm sure you'll now be supporting the McCain Palin ticket. A war hero and the mother of a soldier. Oh, you won't? It's all politics you twit."

No, I won't be voting for them. The military service of their children having nothing to do with it.

"You don't like Bush's politics so you don't like anything else about him."

No, I don't like Bush's politics... and I don't like anything else about that drunk-driving, buffoonish, wannabe cowboy, can't-fulfill-his-own-military-obligation, S.O.B.

Happy now?
